Now That's What I Call WBNQ
Produced as an airstaff gift, “Now That’s What I Call WBNQ” pays tribute to the long-running “Now That’s What I Call Music” CD series. The artwork was the cornerstone of a plaque similar to a gold record awarded by record companies. “40” was chosen as the station was celebrating its 40th anniversary in the format.

Radio Like A Champion Today
Shortly after arriving at his new job in 1986, Lou Holtz was paging through a history of Notre Dame football when he came across a locker room of a sign reading “Play Like A Champion Today.” Inspired and unable to locate the original, Holtz engaged a local artist to recreate the sign and hung it at the entrance to the field at Notre Dame Stadium. As each member of the team takes the field, they touch the sign for luck, and it works: since hanging the sign, Notre Dame has won four national championships. And since it works for football, why not try and borrow a little of that magic for the airwaves?
